Nielsen recently released a study on consumer trust, i.e. whose opinions consumers are likely to listen to. Not surprisingly, friends and family top the list as the most trusted sources. Surprisingly, “Influential Bloggers” are towards the bottom of the list. Although bloggers in the music world carry more influence than the study shows, the results underscore how important word of mouth between friends is. The study is a positive indicator that the Headliner platform makes sense.
