Google Give iTunes Some Competition

Google made an announcement this week that could shake up the way people listen to music. 2 months ago Google purchased Simplify Media and this week it announced that elements of Simplify’s technology would be integrated into Android to allow users to stream music directly from their home computers. Details of Google’s plan remain somewhat unclear and open to speculation; Google has not said whether or not it will be opening its own MP3 store or simply allowing existing MP3 sellers to use their platform.
