Lots of people link to videos using their Twitter accounts. But how effective is Twitter as a video distributor? A new study of online video viewing habits by TubeMogul Brightcove has yielded some surprising results. Internet users who stumble upon videos via Twitter watch longer than users who find videos via search. The difference is nothing to sneeze at either; users who click through to videos on Twitter watch for an average of 2:30 in compared to the 1:30 users who find videos via search.
